Plastic tablecloth rolls are the format restaurants, caterers, party decorators and event suppliers ask us for most often: one continuous roll of PEVA film that you cut to the length you need, instead of a carton of pre-cut covers. We produce them on our own film line in Changzhou, China, in 25 g/m² PEVA — in four standard models.
Tablecloth roll models we produce
| Model | Width | Length | Material | Film weight | Roll weight (0.03 mm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 40in × 100ft | 40in (about 1.02m) | 100ft (about 30.5m) | PEVA | 25 g/m² | 0.9 kg |
| 40in × 300ft | 40in (about 1.02m) | 300ft (about 91m) | PEVA | 25 g/m² | 2.32 kg |
| 54in × 100ft | 54in (about 1.37m) | 100ft (about 30.5m) | PEVA | 25 g/m² | 1.1 kg |
| 54in × 300ft | 54in (about 1.37m) | 300ft (about 91m) | PEVA | 25 g/m² | 3.3 kg |
Every roll design can be produced in all four models. A print or colour is not tied to one width or length — tell us the design you want and the model you need, and we run it in that size. Plain and printed are both available across all four.
What the rolls are used for
- Table covers. Cut to length for restaurant, catering and buffet service — no pre-cut size needed.
- Party venue decoration. Decorators and party suppliers use the rolls to cover tables, counters and service stations and to dress a venue in one colour.
- Backgrounds and backdrops. The film is run as a continuous backdrop for party settings, photo corners and retail displays, and printed rolls carry the theme across the whole space.
- Other covering and decorating jobs where a continuous sheet of PEVA is easier to work with than fixed-size covers.
How to choose the right size plastic tablecloth roll
Two things decide it: the width you need and how often the film is changed.
- Width — 40in or 54in. A 40in (about 1.02m) roll suits narrow service counters, buffet stations, side tables and long trestle tables. A 54in (about 1.37m) roll covers a standard banqueting table with an overhang on all sides, and gives more coverage when the roll is used for backdrops and venue dressing.
- Length — 100ft or 300ft. A 100ft roll (about 30.5m) is the usual choice for everyday service and for retail packing, where covers are cut to length on site. A 300ft roll (about 91m) suits operations that go through film quickly — large venues, decorators and event seasons — and prefer fewer roll changes.
- Plain or printed. Plain rolls keep costs down for everyday service and are the usual choice for backdrops that will be dressed with other props. Printed rolls carry a repeat pattern — seasonal designs, logos or house patterns — for retail packs and themed events.
Rolls or pre-cut tablecloths?
The same PEVA film is available both ways, so the choice is about how you serve and sell it:
| Format | Typical size | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Tablecloth roll | 40in / 54in × 100ft / 300ft | Cut-to-length service, buffets, counters, venue decoration and backdrops |
| Pre-cut rectangular cover | 54in × 108in (137 × 274cm) | Retail packs, single-use service |
| Pre-cut round cover | 213 / 243 / 305cm | Banquet and round-table service |
| Table skirt | 427 × 73cm | Covered tables and reception counters |

Tablecloth roll FAQ
What sizes do your tablecloth rolls come in?
Four models: 40in × 100ft, 40in × 300ft, 54in × 100ft and 54in × 300ft, all in 25 g/m² PEVA.
Can the rolls be used for party decoration and backdrops?
Yes. Alongside table covering, buyers use the rolls to decorate party venues — covering counters and service stations for one-colour dressing — and as continuous backgrounds or backdrops for party settings, photo corners and retail displays. Plain rolls are the usual choice for backdrops, printed rolls when the theme runs across the space.
Is a tablecloth roll the same film as a pre-cut tablecloth?
Yes — the same PEVA film at 25 g/m². A roll is supplied cut to length rather than pre-cut to a fixed table size.
Can the roll be printed?
Yes. Printed rolls are produced to your artwork, and we can match the design to your pre-cut covers so a range looks consistent on the shelf.
Can I get any design in any of the four sizes?
Yes. Every design we run can be produced in all four models — 40in × 100ft, 40in × 300ft, 54in × 100ft and 54in × 300ft. A print is not tied to one width or length: tell us the design and the model, and we produce that combination. Plain and printed both run across all four.
Which roll should I choose for a banqueting table?
For a standard banqueting table with an overhang, the 54in width is the usual choice; 40in suits narrow counters, buffet stations and trestle tables.
